FOOH

Fake-Out-Of-Home engagements are a great success on social media, but it can be challenging for marketing teams and creative agencies to find the right Visual Effects artist who can deliver the expected result in time.

No need to worry. I’ve worked on many succesful and less succesful FOOH and DOOH campaigns over the years totalling over 20 million views on Instagram and TikTok alone.

Let’s be honest, not all campaigns reach a million views. Some struggle to get even 100 likes. The important part is to learn from the past, to see what works and what doesn’t. For that you need someone with experience.


How does it work?

  1. You can provide a briefing, storyboard, or request one.

  2. I consult about approach, budget, time, shooting feasabilities.

  3. We outsource the cameramen and actors.

  4. For a smooth post-production process, I provide VFX supervision on-set.

  5. We purchase necessary 3D assets and 2D elements for the video(s).

  6. To iterate, I showcase the 3D layout on top of the footage for you and your team to art direct.

  7. Delivery within 1-3 weeks per execution depending on complexity.

DOOH

DOOH stands for Digital-Out-Of-Home advertising. We make use of animated CGI and simulations to project impactful, eye-catching visuals on public billboards and LED screens.

Our popular approach utilizes the 3D out-of-screen effect, where we make a digital border to pop 3D elements out of, paired with camera projection from the main viewing angle on the square or street!

I offer consulting for converting concepts into engaging and cost-effective CGI. We will assess the feasibility of various ideas, choose the right approach and estimate costs & time.


Consulting is also important for on-set preparation. I give advice on general Visual Effects practices and we find the right approach to film the shot to ensure a smooth post-production process to deliver as fast as possible.

Supervising

Supervision for new or underperforming artists is sometimes necessary to get the project over the finishline. I make sure the hired artist is using the proper industry standard techniques to approach the shot, and give extra technical and artistic feedback to improve photorealism, visual appeal, and brand alignment.

*Note that VFX supervision is most effective on projects with flexible deadlines, as we will need extra time to iterate and incorporate feedback with the artist.
